So I am guessing you are still running the 3800 in it. That is even better as the block, crank and heads are much better than the stock Buick stuff. The crossbolt mains in the 3800 make it one STOUT piece. I am putting a turbocharged 3800 in a 1948 Chevy Fleetline now. That is still one sneaky ride you have.

not sure about it being better or not.... the buick 3.8L is a different motor all together, however it was built to handle boost. the 3800 was not, mind you it is a very strong and capable motor, ask Tiago, im sure he could vouch for some of the damn near 500RWHP fully built up 3800seriesII engines he's seen/worked on. imagine that 3800 v6; 500RWHP in a 'poor mans fbody'. extreme sleeper? check.

I agree with you completely. The comparison that I was making was geared more towards the block design, heads, crank and induction. The 3800 series is light years ahead of the old LC2 motors. I love the LC2's but I like the 3800 even better. Sneak factor indeed.

As for the 3800 series motor no that one is Definatley not one, its a Stage II Buick Motorsports block. We've just "tweaked" on it a little.

I saw that picture and was immediatly sticky in the midsection........Very nice man.
I guy from my town has two big turbos sticking through the hood. Sounds like a jet going down the dragstrip. Last I heard he was trying to be the fastest GN in the country. He was running low 8's or high 7's if I remember.

Thanks and if he's shooting for the fastest overall, than I beleive mid 7's is the fastest for back halfvd car, Anderson, i think. Stock style suspension, not sure

No, from Virginia. That car sounds like a jet lighting it's engines when he is staging. Gotta love big turbos
