Default Is this cam to big for a turbo?

Actually which of these two cams would be better for a 370ci motor and a t-76 turbo.

232/234 .595"/.598" 115 lsa

228/228 .588"/.598" 115 lsa

which one would be best? or do they both suck for a turbo?

It's a trade off but depending on your goals I would even think about going a bit bigger. Also not a firm believer in a standard split cam for turbos. Either no split or reverse depending on your intake/exhaust.

I'd go single pattern or reverse split. You really want to make sure you don't go too crazy with exhaust duration with a single turbo setup since you will just be increasing back pressure at the turbo.

Again, cam is going to depend on the whole package.

What is your plan for the full exhaust system?
What are you doing for the intake?
What heads are you running?
Is it a hydraulic motor or a solid roller motor?
How high do you plan on spinning it?
What compression ratio?
Is it a manual or auto?

A single patern means the same intake lobe as exhaust lobe.

Not sure on the exhaust.
As for the intake im using a fast 90 and NW 90mm TB.
Heads- Stock 6.0 heads
motor is hydraulic
Want the cam to peak no later than 6650rpm
compression ratio will be around 8:9:1
car is a 6 speed

We use our 225/225 113lsa cam for the 370ci/T76 combination and it has made 908rwhp/908rwtq.

I would be interested to see what that same combo made with a different cam. Did you guys test other cams and find that to be the best?
