ATI belt is too SMALL...HELP!!!

ATI belt is too SMALL...HELP!!!

I was installing my Procharger again this weekend, and ran into the problem of
not being able to fit the 8 rib belt around the supercharger after installing it.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the belt on???

MIne is the same way. I usually have to take the blower loose, or you can remove the crank pulley. Neither is much fun. Sorry.....

I usually put the belt on, hang on tight to the head unit (with both hands and my weight), and re-attach the unit hex-head bolts (someone else does this). Otherwise, I can't get the belt on with everything else already bolted up.

Six rib, BTW.

Try it with a 12rib belt! Took my 45minutes and two people.. i got the belt around the procharger than got it on as much as i could with flat head screwdriver (very carefully) than bumped the engine over a few short times. Fortunatly the belt went on after 2nd bump.
