I ran it on pump gas last year once through the hooker muffler, it ran 6.40s @ 109 on a 1500' DA day in the 1/8. That was with last years 10:1 compression motor, 12 degrees of timing and 11.5-12:1 air/fuel. it was around 13.5psi peak or so.

Man it always impresses me to see you keep knocking those times down lower and lower with each track visit, you are flying on that D1.

Its a little easier now with a decent short block, the other one was fine but I was always afraid of the stock connection rods so I was easy on it. It was very easy to plug a stronger motor and better set of heads in the car and do better - it was all set up from last year

Hows yours coming along?

Yeah having the stock rods would have made me a lil weary too running them into the 9s on boost. Hope you put the bigger injectors in and the 3.4 pulley on just once

And I'm still slow My tranny is almost done. So thats good. I have a bunch of parts sitting around me, but i'm pretty burnt out and haven't mustered up the steam to put them on. Plus I have a boost leak, but i'll start looking for that in a minute

Its not that easy, I have the pulley and injectors but I wont do it unless I'm running C16 or something. I'll do it at the end of the year when I dont care if I kill my O2s I'm just going to back it down a little and have some fun with it, the car is getting to be handfull and this is about as fast as I want to go on a 6pt roll bar.

Cant do much without the trans I guess

With all that stuff in your sig all I'll be able to do is tow your car to the track with mine, I'd need some spots

No, 50 miles one way is my drive to the track and race limit There is two 1/8 mile tracks here I can drive to. When I drive to the track I drive up on the QTPs, let the air our of the tires and go. I'm way to lazy to swap tires at the track, I usually tow the car on longer hauls since my family likes to come along - we always make a day out of it..

Congrats KP...you should bring that car up to Louisville on a Saturday for a T&T, I know I and quite a few others wouldn't mind taking a look at the car. Plus it's only like what, 4 hours from where you are

We saw it in action last year at the N vs. S in BG. Car runs strong.

Yeah Ohio Valley is in Louisville. We always go to the Car Wars in Clay City (where Ohio Boys just had their wreck), it's a fun time, hoping to take my car back to the next one. The track isn't the greatest, but it's fun and it's 1/4 mile. Then there's also US 60 (Hardinsburg) which is about 30 minutes from the Ohio Valley, it's probably the worst track but it hooks good. Just has a reputation to give wrong times (when my car was running 92-93 in the 1/8th I'd get slips saying I ran 106 )

If you ever head up this way to any of those tracks, or BG be sure to let me know. We have quite a few LS1's here in Louisville, most of which are being turned into race cars as we speak.
