Thumbs up New 1/4 mile best today, getting there..

+22 feet DA, doesnt get much better then that in these parts.. Only made 2 passes, the shutdown at this track was pretty rough, caught a rock trying to get it slowed down and put a hole in a header tube so I said screw it after 2 passes, couple inches over and it would have been my oil pan that had a hole in it

Nothing has changed from last weekend except the weather and going to a track thats 1000' lower then I usually run at, seeing nearly 16psi boost today, 3300 raceweight, full tank of 104 Sunoco unleaded for traction. First pass I loaded my cool weather tune in and forgot to up the rev limiter for the new motor so I hit the rev limiter hard on both shifts and spun bad, still ran a 9.72 @ 142 (1.390 60') though, second pass was a 1.323 60' and 9.48 @ 144, 6.04 @ 114.5 1/8 mile. 1/8 would have been better if the car didnt spin pretty bad on the 1-2 shift (cold track), didnt get my 5.9x Shame really, the car was a little rich and only 15 degrees of timing. I'm pretty sure I could have got in the 30s with some tuning but I didnt want to tear the car up anymore..

Here are the two passes, plus my 3 year old cruising around the pits - he loves driving the thing around. Too bad he cant reach the pedals, I'd strap him in, that would be 190lbs off the car with him driving lol.

Not yet, only turning it to 53K, I can still get another 3-4psi out of it with the 3.4 pulley and taking the inlet off. But I have been too lazy to switch to the 72lb injectors - wanted to see how far I could go with the 57s plus I hate to screw up the 60 foot - its not bad for no trans brake and no SD tune

I seriously think in the same DA with the 3.4 pulley, no inlet hat and some C16 and a 3.50 gear/2.75 1st in the trans it would get mighty close to the 8s..

As I was watching the video I was thinking, "all the lil guy needs is to grow some legs and he's good to go"

Looks like you were drawing an audience.

Great vids.

kp, thats some good runs there and was a kick seeing your son as the pilot later, my son loves it also, now he's 6 and wants his own Jr Dragster, which means less mod money for me, but then again, I can always ship my parts in with his

Neither my 3 or 6 year old want anything to do with a Jr dragster - they want dirt bikes
