Default FI injector ?

for everyone that knows everything don't laugh at me as i am learning and getting my parts list together....

by next year i will be going down the forced induction road! i already have a lot of supporting mods. and now im starting to collect fuel upgrade stuff.

question- What size injectors should i go with. i've already figured that regaurdless of turbo or SC i will probably be running 7 or 8 psi cause of stock bottom end.

any input on injector size and any other little things i may be needing would be greatly appreciated! I have already got pump and rails on the list...but now im needing to "iron out" the little details.

Thanks -Matt-

I went with mototron 60#'s from harris speedworks. A little over 400 bones & they are flow matched. I was told by some that they are too large for a cam only car but I am preparing for the future.

I just got back from my first drive with them while logging on HPT & they ran the exact same AFR's as the stockers except under heavy decel it went rich but I don't care. I did a WOT & used 36% duty cycle on them at 13.0 AFR so there is plenty left in them. I have heard you can get around 800 rwhp with them but don't quote me on that, maybe some day I will find out.

At 7 to 9 psi the 42# injectors are just fine. Once you do a forged bottom end and add more boost, you will have to swap them out. Most people wish they would of gone with the 60's to begin with, as it would of saved them money. Bob

thanks for the input!.... as far as "getting my parts together" the 60#er's should work fine with the 7-9 pounds? (as speed is never enough...i know that further down the road a forged block and more boost would certainly happen!)
