Default Procharger pulley help
I need to know what pulley combos people are running to make 13-15psi with a 408? I will also be running ET240cc heads.

Any help is appreciated. With the stock 346 I am running 10.5psi with a 3.85" pulley, and I have a feeling going down to a 3.4" pulley on the 408 will not get me 13-15psi

Suggestions?

I understand boost psi is not a measure of power... but I am really just looking for pulley combos people are using to achieve the most power out of their 408!

By your current size I presume it's a P1? If so, I say 3.25".

3.4 got me 14psi on a 370 iron block with my d1sc, overspinning the blower at 6200 though... you need an F-2R blower if you want to do it right!

All you can do is go down to the smallest pulley. You might try removing the air filter, and see how much more boost you pick up. I haven't tried that on a GTO. You might find with a little experimenting that a larger filter will pick you up some boost. Your best bet is to install an F1 blower... Bob
