Hmmm, that track didnt look the smoothest either. Running that fast, I like the nice pavement that feels smooth, that looked rough and tore up, but hell where else is there a track that long to race down?

What kind of downforce mods do you have. I pushed my camaro to 165 and had to back off because it was getting a little scary.

Congrats Jim!!!!! What an amazing setup you have on your car. You and everyone involved deserve major props. It's awesome to see such a beautiful setup perform and look so damn good doing it. I think you've proved many doubters out there that your setup is DAMN reliable.

Keep it up, and look forward to hanging out this year!

Jim Would've Had No Problem Doing About 210 Or So At Full Boost! He Only Ran 19psi And Usualy Runs About 24 So 205-210mph Would've Been A Walk In The Park

It didn't pop. Running fine.

They only ran at 1,255rwhp vs. the 1,750rwhp they were capable of. They also had a shitload of ballast for traction that weighed it down at 4,800lbs. Went 218.9 mph.

BTW great runs Jim! 199mph in an f-body takes some ******* *****!

Thats awesome, congrats man!!

If it were closer, I would have gone out too but I guess Ive got a speed governor at 170 or something cause I hit 5700 rpm in 5th with 3 42's and it was banging off the limiter...

Does it make a huge difference if your on slicks/DR's/street tires when going that fast in regards to reliability of tire?
