I think it would be fine running a 346/T6'd 88. I've see 38x ci motors spool up 12xmm turbos....even seen some 331 spooling up 106's. Being it will not be a DD....I'm guessing 90% track/10% street....lag will not be a concern. With the right stuff, you will be able to build all the boost you want on the line.

On another note, if you have the means to more cubes, I would do it. It will make spooling alot easier...but if the motor is already built and ready to go.....it will be fine
