There is still the 180deg pipe bend we sent with it that has the provision for the bypass valve. This part is essiential, the aluminum elbow was used to replace the 4" 5ply silicon peice that kept closing shut.

It does indeed make one heck of a difference, as we picked up two pounds of boost with eliminating the intake restriction. Belt slippage also seemed to be eliminated, as we were seeing a consistant 16 psi with the stock ProCharger bracket over the course of several weeks. The ProCharger more than likely wasn't having to work as hard.
I think a good magazine article could be made by comparing what restriction there is in all the various inlet hats from ATI for the D-1SC. The Corvettes, GTO's, F Body, etc.
