i vote sell your heads and get some 6.0's get maybe their stage 1 heads and have them open up the chambers to lower your cr even more

sell the heads....give a call or pm to Erik Koenig @ HPE----->sponsor....i got my motor from him and hes been very helpful and always got back to me,plus he always gives a good price and does good work

Ok this might be a little off topic guys but heres the deal. I have all the mods I mentioned on the other page pretty much H/C/S I have 394rwhp 3600+ raceweight, and with MT ET Streets i laid down a 8.1 with a 1.9 60 ft time, something has to be wrong here. This bullshit has been a disaster ever since I did this ******* project and I should have listened to my Dad him being really into drag racing and all and went with froced induction... This is my 3rd time needing a new stall converter... When I was going throught the burnout lane on my last run, I thought the tires were giving and they didnt and when I went to the light and hammered it it was so sluggish and the car slowly picked up rpms... I know this is forced induction part of the site but i feel yall are the most knowlegdeable what is going on with my car please help..

head and cam making 394rwhp is pretty low... and 8.1 is a disaster with a 1.9 60ft

i was cam only and made 399rwhp with a 12 bolt and 4.10 gears with 7.5x runs on a 1.5x 60ft.

you might have too big of tires on your car and its just bogging the hell out of it... or your tune may not be right...

Yea the 346/347 is a forged ls1 block (347 is just a stock 346 bored out to a 347). A 408 is usually made out of the iron 6.0 block, but can be done with an ls2 block (i believe). I dont think (not positive though) that you could stroke out a stock ls1 block to 408, but again im not positive as most seem to go with the 6.0 iron block, or sometimes the ls2 402 block.

I know man im bringing back the car on wednesday.. I dont know whats wrong with the car but who knows.. this is gonna be the 3rd time going back for a torque converter... I have 4500 bucks does anyone know what I should do with it???
