Victor Jr port matching
Victor Jr port matching Ive seen few pics of the victor jr intake port matching the head intake ports, here is some of how mine lined up:

seems better then others Ive seen, I'll just port it down that 1/16th and slap it on the car, can't wait!

If I'm looking at that right, are you going to have to port the head to line up w/ the Victor Jr, and not the other way around?
Oh, and I want to have sex w/ your top end (hey, it could be worse: I could've said your bottom end...).

Yes from the looks of it, the heads need to be ported to fit the intake, which is weird!
I hope some other people chime in on this it may just line up it was so close....

Tiago, I'm in the process of the same thing...move the intake around a little and you may find a "sweet" spot where you'll find the intake needing some grinding not the head. Best thing would be for you to install the heads "ink" the heads then install the intake. You'll see where your at then...Your not getting a correct reading just mounting the intake on the heads like you have it now. Be sure after the port matching you install the intake with a good light looking down each runner to line everything up. Without any kind of shoulder bold or thicker bolt that intake can move around quite a bit. Good luck with your project...looking killer!!

yea I was thinking the same thing, it was so loose that it would probably line up just fine after it was on the car. how much overlap did you end up having on the intake to the heads after all?

Your probably looking at close to 1/8" around each port. You don't have to get it perfect as far as intake matching the head but as you know you just don't want the head to be the obstruction. Leaving a little smaller intake before the intake port of the head won't make any real difference...just don't want it the other way around. We'll have to do some "playin" after we're both done...We'll go Supra hunting one eve.

Sweet post Tiago. I am looking at getting the same top end, but bolt it to my ETP Heads. I also heard a lot of ppl having to port the intake, but like you, I can see where the head needing to be opened up a little would create a wall, blocking smooth flow. Post up pics after you get it finished please. Thanks.

Here is a trace of the ports overlayed, you can clearly see the overlapped areas, the darker line is the heads, hte rectangular shaped lighter port is the intake, I dont' know if I should port this, looks like it is a hair from the gasket groove already.....
Edit: for clarification the ouside rectangle is the inside of the O ring groove already
you can see the top and bottom of the ports are 100% matching .

Also the geometry might change a bit with the heads on the motor and torqued down. I wouldn't port it based on an off-engine mockup. The block is the master - the heads have to key off of it, then the manifold keys off the heads.
