Is 8:3 to 1 compression to low on everyday driver Z06 with ECS D1SC set-up?

I was talking about the difference in off boost conditions when comparing an 8.5:1 engine to a 9.5:1 engine. But I agree he'll see a bigger change when going from 10.5:1 to 8.5:1, and certainly more so under boost...

Changing the CR one point does make a difference, but it's not incredibly noticeable. Besides, the small losses from dropping CR can more than be made up by running even more boost, and it's not like SC's have any lag.

Anyone saying 8-8.5:1 is pointless for a boosted car, can you tell me what you trap on pump and race gas?
