Default For those interested in TT for F-Bodies...

I will say, I got a couple sneak peeks at a soon to be released F Body Twin kit and it looks very nice. Non of the PITA routing that I had seen on others. Very nice placement, and routing should leave plenty of ground clearance, and engine/turbo access. p.s. Keep a look out for picture releases from TurboZone...NOSJohn is doing some fabbing and its getting close.

Looking good John, for some reason as I tried posting the pics, they disappeared

Using truck manifolds no the AC has to be ditched, just no way around that...however I am not sure if he is working on headers for those desiring to keep the AC, good quesiton. Affordable...relative statement. What you consider affordable and me, is different. Comparitve to the market for anyone making twins, I would say definately...afterall how many twins kits are available right now? I didnt get pricing, just a sneak peek and some info..as I am simply looking at doing a truck manifold single myself. John is good guy, working his tail off trying to get it all done before he pops it up and makes promises that cant be met.

I know how you feel saying that. I have been Nitrous for a long time, just cuz I couldnt bear to think of !AC. Now, after filling bottle after bottle and watching others simply turn it up, or down I cant handle it anymore. Are there other options out there? Yes. Will TurboZone come out with a different setup to allow retention of AC? I dont know, I guess I could ask him if he has any plans for that in the future. Its been stated before, too many shops try coming up with a kit, pleasing everyone will never happen, and the prices are always subject to make or break a shop....all too often they come and go, another reason I have sstayed away this long. But, now I want to "settle down" a little and have the power all the time, when I want it, not relying on lb per lb fills. A kit based off the truck manifolds should keep the cost and overhead down yet still capable of providing lots of power.

Charlie - thanks for the kind words and those are MI-3 pics, once viewed....POOF !

Big Bad - prices are on the site...www.turbo-zone.com

sellsZ06 - once done with these other 2 designs (twin and single truck manifold kit), we are on schedule for a kit that will retain the A/C using our own design of headers, not Log manifolds.

I promise to keep you guys up to date and deliver product when it's ready!

If anyone needs a single truck kit (for a truck), our jig is done and we can have a complete barebone kit done for you inside of 5 business days !!

My man John is a stand up guy. His kits are looking good, and if he slacks of on quality I will tear him a new one. I'm basically giving him my opinion on every one of his kits...and I'm not subtle!!! Man some of the convo's we have...lets just say they are interesting. Anywho, should be a great kit!

Isn't GMR ready to offer a TT kit for the F body that retains the AC?

Hmm... these pics better come quick! I seriously was going to call GMR this or next week. I finally have the $7K I need for their kit. This might just make me change my mind. And CAT3, yes I agree, I'm doing turbos for the same reason as you, lol. Screw A/C.

By the way, what PITA routing? Of the intercooling piping or other things?

Yes, we include an Alternator relocate bracket. The only other item is that you must slightly push the power sterring lines to the right (drivers side), very easy to do by hand, no tools, no cutting.

If your kit retains A/C and it's done about a year down the road, I'm down.. Think your kit could fit bigger turbos than the incon kit?
