oil return question

does this look to low to where it will be covered with the oil in the pan?

Mine are setup a little higher than that, how high up is the turbo and is there a reason you put it so low?

I put mine higher also. I was told as long as it is above the bottom hump (where the majority of the engine oil is in the pan) it would be okay though.

isn't the oil level about the height of the baffle pan.

I put mine in the timing cover to get full draining. I was told that just about the whole pan is full of oil and it wouldnt drain very well if I put them in there.

Oil is under the baffle while running. It comes over the baffle while the engine is shut off. As long as you are above the baffle you will be okay. I would have gone higher to be on the safe side.

did you use a 1/2" barb for the oil return? I don't mean to hijack your thread or anything, but I'm in the process of making an oil return for my supercharger, and it didn't come with the required hardware. So I need to locate a 1/2" barb i need to put in my pan. Do you know where I can get one? Are they all pretty much universal in that they all perform the same function? thanks!
