which boost controller with success
I seached but didnt find anything.
I am looking at getting the EBOOST 2 and wondered if anyone has had good luck with it. What else is a good electronic controller. I want to be able to adjust boost at the touch of a button and have multiple settings. Thanks for any advise.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but i actually paid for that one today.
Some news to help though, i've read up a lot on boost controllers. From what I've seen, there are a ton of different ones ranging in prices. There are only a few controllers that i have heard only positive things about. One was the Eboost2 which aparantly is easier to use, compact location in gauge pod, yada yda, and no problems. The other is the AMS1000 or something like that which is a buttload of $$$$$. I figured that since the Eboost would do everything i wanted and more, looked nice, and relatively simple once you spend a little time to figure it out, oh yea, and wasn't too much cash, i'd get it. Hope that helps.

If you do the eBoost2 I'd mount it in pretty sturdy locale... the button pressing takes some pressure, and if you want (or need) to goof with it much you'll appreciate having something to push against.

Figured I'd throw in my .02.
In my experience (which covers ALOT of boost contollers) as far as EBC's go, I find the HKS EVC and Blitz SBC-IDII to be the best I've used. The Blitz is a bit tricky to install, but has the best display and controll of any I've used.
If I were you, unless you plan on running lower boost all the time (which without an EMS controlled fuel system using an "on demand pump" for boost would be useless) and turning it up when you line up next to someone, I say get a Hallman Manual boost controll (Hallman Pro-RX, Hallman ES, etc) and just set it and forget it (like ronco).
Reason being, i find that a ball and spring type is ALOT cheaper and easier to manage than an electronic system. No dealing with solenoids, no dealing with wiring.
If running high (pump gas) boost levels is a serious problem, THEN DRIVE SLOWER. Back off the throttle a bit, or run WG spring pressure. Then when you get to the track, or want to have some fun, pull'er over and make a few turns in the clockwise direction.
...just my .02

^aside from that, an EMS with a closed loop system is the best IMO hands down. No problems and ECU managability, just make sure you know your system and how to change it when the time comes.
