Buying a used TTi street kit - seeking advice
OK gents, I am buying a used TTi street kit, minus the turbo. This kit has the 2.5" downpipe and I believe the smaller diameter crossover. I have been doing some reading and seems some good upgrades to it are:
-3" downpipe
-latest design log and crossover (or have local shop make me a crossover)
-intercooler upgrade (heard OBX mentioned, but have not found any install info or pics)
I will have to get a new cam, my stocker is junk. Wanted to know if the Z06 cam is adequate, or since I need a new one should I get a custom and what specs?
Also, was leaning towards a T67 or T76 turbo. Any thoughts?
My engine is stock internals (except cam), and will remain stock internals the rest of this year. Looking to get at least 450 rwhp/450 rwtq, but 500/500 would be great.

I agree with SSilverSSurfer... You should be able to hit 500/500 with the 67 on that kit, real nice kit from what I've seen and heard. My friend runs the 02 z06 cam in his car, running 13# boost, and that thing works like a champ! It doesn't cause reversion like the hotcam (what I have/had), seems to build boost, but that could be my imagination.

500/500 is the temporary goal. Eventually I will want more, but by the time that comes I will likely sell the TTi kit and get something different as others have done. Right now I want to get the most I can from the street kit and have fun with it since this is my first turbo adventure.

Can somebody tell me if the T76 that TTi sells is a "hybrid"? I have read that it is a larger impeller in a small housing, but I have also read that it is a normal T76.
Also, found out some more info on my kit. It is the style with the crossover in front of the engine, and it does have a 2.5" downpipe. It also has the older, smaller log manifold.
TTi wants 375 for the new style crossover, 325 for the downpipe, and 925 for the new manifold. And, I still have the smaller duct work. I guess there is much more difference in their T60 and T76 kits than I orginally thought.

Yes the TTi T76 is a Hybrid 76 Impellor in a 6X housing. You don't NEED the new Log manifold. I was over 560rwhp with a stock 6.0L with the smaller log.
Also, all of the TTi intake tubing is 2.5" Mine is 2.5" and its just fine.
If it were me, I'd get the T76, the down pipe, and the crossover pipe and call it a day.

A little more and you can get the complete non sponsor hot parts kit with full headers and run a true 76 with tang v housing.

By the way, That is the entire hot side of the kit that you are talking about...
Crossover pipe, Drivers side log manifold, and the down pipe.

I'm with Jose!! If you are going to change all the TTI hot parts, you would go a tubular kit!!
