Front Mount or Meth. Injec.
Depends on the size of the FMIC. Meth is very popular but you risk failure and high IAT's because of it. I went FMIC on mine, plan to add meth also with the new build.
I would say to go with an intercooler for the street John...Then if you wanted to up it more you could go with the meth but you just run a risk of the injection failing...There are no mechanics in the intercooler which obviously have a higher reliablity...

Jared, we can just upgrade to a 4" that will support 1000 and it fits just like the one you have. I will just strengthen the bracket for the added weight.

The downside to the front mount is pressure drop across it, meaning you dont get out what goes in. Depending on core can vary a few PSI. Then is the issue of not allowing air to the radiator, on a street car with AC.. this can be an issue. Heat soaking can also occur..
IMHO, get a small front mount with a nice high flowing core... large pipes.. then latter do the meth for higher boost and slam that air charge down below ambient.
My rule of thumb is anything less than 20 PSI can get away with methanol injection... but the higher the temperature load, the more meth that will be required to get the temps down... not a good thing since reliance increases many fold, as does consumption.
