ProChargers???
Do they produce as much power as people say they do?
Are they worthy enough for a daily driver?
I know fuel economy will go down but how much?
How hard is it to install?
The price I seen was farely cheap, So I was wondering if it was a typo or are they under a grand?
If anyone has any information for me regarding this, I would greatly appriciate it. Thanks

Easily daily drivable... more so than a hardcore heads/cam package if you ask me
Fuel economy will only go down when you are accelerating really hard, but under normal driving it will be about the same + or - a little
I have no idea on the install of the kit for an FBody... Mines on a GTO
The kits usually run between $4k and $5k
-Yes, they produce a damn good amount of power. On a stock car, you'll hit 400+ rwhp pretty easy. Depending on which model you get (D-1SC is the best), you're looking at hitting 450 rwhp.
-If there's any supercharger for a daily driver, this is it. They're very mild mannered until you start getting your foot into it.
-I wouldn't imagine fuel economy would go down much, if at all. If it did, it would only be because you'd be flooring it more to feel the power.

-They provide installation instructions. If you don't feel confident doing it, definitely take it to a very good shop around you or pay someone else who knows what they're doing.
Thanks again.

What are you trying to get at with your car? Mostly street car and occasionally at the strip or vice versa? You could buy a procharger, FMIC, get some 3in alum. tubes and do it yourself pretty easily for less than 6grand. You will also need to add some more fuel to the stock setup. The 6grand system your talking about is not difficult to install... They (procharger) give you instructions and they do a good job of explaning the steps. If you need any help w/ the install you always got us here... hope this helps...
A procharger just sounds BAD ***... IMO

Yes, we typically see a 140 rwhp gain with 8 psi of boost.
Are they worthy enough for a daily driver?
Yes, you can still use your car on a daily basis, and take road trips with it.
I know fuel economy will go down but how much?
You might see a loss of 1 mpg during part throttle driving conditions. Many of our customers don't see any loss at all.
How hard is it to install?
On any forced induction install, I would double the suggested time if it is your first forced induction kit. I would allow for 16 hours.

Give me a call at 260 244-4808 for a super low price, although it will be slightly higher than a grand. lol Bob
