If his blow off valve is working, then I'm sure he's got it connected right.

What he described was that he had the BOV hooked directly to the turbo outlet line which will only see boost, and not vacuum.

I went from 3.5psi to 5psi simply be rewiring my wastegate off of the turbo outlet and into my intake elbow as that seems to be the most accurate place to measure the boost.

im not quite sure why you guys dont understand that, the turbo outlet to the cylinder ports get the same pressure reading.
How will it see vacuum if it's not on the engine side of the throttle body? It wouldn't see vacuum until you have already pushed all the excess air back through the compressor, which is what you are trying to eliminate by putting the BOV on there in the first place.

well, I guess it could see some vacume before the turbo spools, but it does the bov no good.

I never liked the idea of getting reference at the scroll. I can see why its useful in some situations but I'd rather have wastegates and boost gauges be run off the manifold pressure.

I use manifold for everything except the reference to the bottom port of the wastegates...for that I run it right off the compressor outlet.

my Bov works but ill change it just to make you guys happy.
one reason i put the source on the turbo was to see less boost right no, so if theres a pressure drop on the IC the wastegate would read higher pressure and open sooner, making less boost (as i only have 42lbers in there right now.

Should just put the BOV befoe the intercooler, but still need a vaccuum reference to the other side of the TB (intake).

It's fine to run from the compressor to the wastegate. I do that on mine as well. But the BOV is what needs to be reference from the engine side of the throttle body.
