Congrats Tom. If you think you're twitching with excitement now... just was until you sit down in the seat and turn the key.

Hell, he probably already put a chair near the motor on the dyno and pretended to hold a steering wheel and push pedals!!! I know I would have!!! Then he can stop over to Stenod and sit on a milk crate in the car to complete the picture in his head. And of course perma-grin will set in. It will take weeks to wipe that smile off his face. I know I get a smile just hearing an engine on the Dyno. Those guys at W2W have cool jobs! They must smile most of the time!

It was fun blowing your head gaskets Tom!!!! This thing will be a animal in the car with some new gaskets. The gaskets held for 20+pulls before giving up on a 14XXHP pull. Looks like the copper gaskets with all there problems/difficulty are still the ticket.

The block and head are just flat per Cometics design. It was a valiant effort, but the pressure is just too high for the gasket. It might be interesting to try that gasket with a couple of o-rings for back-up, but they are over 400 dollars for the pair, so copper makes more sense at this point.
Steven, what are you using on your engine? And is it still a factory casting?

Is it going to spin more than 7500 on the track? Torque was still barely falling off at that point figured you'd want her up even higher.

Badass motor though for sure.

im really surprised at this statement as John Gullet's pro5.0 motor made over 2200hp and has run 6.30s @ 220+... he runs cometics without a problem... same with a number of Pro 5.0 and Outlaw guys..
