Just as the title says, would being blown and having a direct port kit be a good combination? thanks

Yup, you're wrong. Direct port would not affect the injectors. Unless he's doing some crazy direct port dry. You can go w/ direct port, but unless you're spraying a big shot, you could just do a regular wet kit, or a dry kit if you've got the injector for it.

Id be worried about the #7 piston having issues on a non direct port setup. Especially a dry setup. Unless you had a vistor intake, but i wanna guess this guy doesnt.

no, its jsut the LS6 intake. so you think i would be ok with running just a wet shot? if i could save money on it by not going overkill that would be the best of both worlds, and also im not planning on spraying the hell out of it, just a little bit extra for those "slow" days, haha

a dry direct port makes no sense because a dry kit works by spraying before the MAF so it reads it as extra air and makes the injectors work harder to compensate.

It's possible, but not w/ a stock pcm, I think it can be done w/ BS3 or FAST. When the kit is activated, the injectors dump more fuel. They run direct port dry in pro stock (I think it' pro stock anyway).

Personally I've seen most people spray a wet kit (single nozzle) before the throttle body on blower combos. Some have used dry. Both work well. Make sure your fuel pump is up to snuff. Nitrous and blowers work really well together. It cools the charge down considerably . (better than methanol)

Umm they don't run nitrous in pro stock cars..
Direct dry shot?? somebody shoot me, lol

Prostock that I'm referring to is the kind that Warren Johnson drives and has a big cubed motor with twin carbs..

Here's a pic of a NHRA Pro Stock car.

Here's your typical 500 cu in Pro Stock motor.

that's kind of a cool setup. Are those rubber or plastic lines?
I prefer metal lines.

I've got an incon car with a direct port kit on it. Take my advice dude, while it's cool to say, I've got 2 power adders under the hood It makes doing anything under the hood a Pain in the ***!!!!! I've got the stand alone fuel cell where the battery used to go. Not all the electrical is hooked up either until I get done with the tuning. It's only jetted for a 100 shot also. I think a wet or dry shot would be easier and still give you the results you want.
