Default What would it take? (Twin Screw)

I've done the searching. And the very vauge "a lot of mods and cutting" is all I get. So... what would it take?

To fit an intercooled twin screw s/c on an ls1 T/A? Cutting the cowl. Maybe relocating a wiper motor. What else though? What's so hard that its so rarely done? Theres a kit for efi small blocks, would that be the one to use? I dont know much, and ive searched plenty for roots style blowers and all that. I cant find anything to really spell out how its done. And the car from hawks thirdgens, cant find that on the site anymore either. And which would YOU choose? KB or Whipple?

So if anyone knows any of these answers, please post them up. And if you have some realistic pricing as well, that would be great.

I know im not the only one who wants to know.

Plus theres quite a few people that dont like the idea of cutting up their car. What I'd like to know is with a diff kmember or whatever could the engine be lowered enough without sacrificing clearance to squeeze one of them in without cutting.

I dont mind a little cutting, noting radical. But its no big deal to me. When you say too much. Like what?

I know my end goal is a streetable 500/500 blown set up. with instant power and that awesome blower whine. Twin screw seems to be ideal for my purposes. But I just dont know how to make it work. I've seen some roots and what not done before, but I dont know how different the install is on something like that. I'm a little uneducated on the technical aspects of each blower. I know positioning for roots and centri. but twin screw is all new to me. Does it also sit on the intake like a roots?

I am also thinking about this option. I dont mind cutting the cowl a little bit. I love the whine of a roots style supercharger. and it is somthing different.

Drop your motor to start with, and then I believe people have had to trim their windshield cowling.

This was only a few threads down...
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/545595-video-roots-blower-setup-f-body.html
And there are manifolds to put the 'old school' 6-71's and others on LS1's now.
