I have no idea what Bob makes his out of, I was just doing a general comparison to the other brands out there versus ours.

Ours are done with mild steel at the moment, however the benders can use pretty much anything. The reason for mild steel is the cost on this. 3" stainless is pretty expensive when you are requiring about 10 feet of it per kit. Mild steel will hold good pressure, and will resist rust if painted with a good paint or powdercoated.
