To my knowledge they are the only folks with a complete kit. I did mine using their IC before they had the complete kit, took about a week & a half for all the stuff to get to me from 4 different suppliers. EPP's stuff arrived 1st.

Hate to hijack your thread, but it revolves around the FMIC.

What boost are you running on your setup? Ive been contemplating FI and I was thinking, at what point does it become "optimal" to go with an FMIC vs the twin units supplied with the Procharger? Or, is it just optimal (better cooling, more consistancy in temps etc) to go with an FMIC from the very beginning?

right now im only running 8 - 9 psi on a stock motor, but I didnt buy a D1 to run that boost. Eventually ill run more and i dont want to redo the blower pipeing. Hate to have to do stuff more than once. I made 450rwhp with the stock twins and there was a lot left in it, but since my old car got hit in the nose and it smashed all the pipes to hell i think ill build it better this time.
I guess i could fab up my own stuff but it would be nice to have all the pipes and couplings that i need in one shot. I dont want to have my car down for months waiting for some little part.

P.S. if any one wants those twins, mine are a little dinged up but they dont leak and ill sell em cheap.

I just looked at that synergy stuff.... looks good but its 300 more than EPP's. Why? Looks like the same core. does it fit better? If someone from synergy can convince me its better then id go for it, other than that i guess im waiting on EPP

I hear ya.

I was only curious because as I said, Im lookin into FI and was wondering what boost level you were running to "justify" going with an FMIC. Or when exactly the twin units would be maxed out, and it'd be optimal to go w/ an FMIC instead.

Hope everything works out tho.

Call up Rick at Synergy and ask.

There are differences, have him explain them to you and then make your choice.

well the way i see it is, I can buy that core on ebay for 200, 200-300 in pipes and clamps and couplers. To me its worth it to not have to fit everything, so bobs price seems fair to me. I dont mind paying for somebodys R&D work, But what amounts to the same stuff for 300 more is just a little much.

Bob: dont raise your price till after i order mine, I give you a call in a week or so and if it looks like the pipes are gonna get there ill order the kit and a bypass valve if you got em.

i would definately wait for bob's kit. he seems to be the best out there as far as procharger stuff goes. not to discredit rick. he also seems very good i would go to him for tuning, but bob seems to deal with prochargers way more.

No... there are other sponsors that sell complete kits too. Bob and crew do have a good price, I got mine from another sponsor for about the same price.

It comes down to piping and the type of componenets you use. Yes, its the same IC as everyone else, but no shop will sell parts and not put a markup on it. Then if you ever price out Mandrel bent stainless pipe, you will know why its exspensive.
