Hi-Flo Install pictorial
pickin up the boost controller tonight.... sometme durin the week we'll work more on the tune. realistically....prolly not for at LEAST another week and a half. i wouldnt be so held up on the numbers tho.
i dont really care tho cuz there will be a nice before/after once we line up again. nothing to be ashamed of on the other hand cuz these cars are decently fast.
We were not supposed to buy ANYTHING TO MAKE IT WORK. Bill care to chime in?????????????? Ask Hi FLo to send you the gaskets, but that could take a year to get them????

1. what did you do about an overflow tank?
2. what did you do about the dipstick?
3. how did you route your spark plug wires?
I think thats it for now.

for now:
i have a Jaz coolent overflow. i actually mounted it to the driverside inner fender well below the fuse boxes. i dont think the rad was able to draw the coolent back properly, so, once i have time, im gona re-attack that.
i dont even have a dipstick at the moment. i cut the factory shaft and welded it shut, and used it as a plug. i just keep a close eye on my oil psi. the only thing that will work (that i know of) would be a flex dipstick, which again, i will attack over winter.
spark plug wires. you need TAYLOR LT1 ends as they are the only ones that work on ls1 coil packs. i got a msd kit, and routed 2 to the front of the head, and 2 to the rear of the head on both sides. u need 90* boots for the plug side, and route them UNDER the headers.
for batter connection, i got a universal relocation kit. again, another temp "hack"job. u need to ground the block to the body, and the battery to the body. SOLID METAL TO METAL GROUNDS. i ran the power cable along side the body of the car (where the fuel/brake lines go), along teh power steering rack, and a connected it to the factory positive battery connection, taped it up realll good and isolated it. over winter, im redoing it the right way.
again, i did all this **** quickly to get the car on the road. over winter, im pretty sure im stripping the car to repaint it, top and bottom, then reinstalling and making the whole car super clean.
