I agree, if people are looking for big huge power a better place to look is probably F1/F2/Turbo

How many hours of actual time do you have in the project?

Was it off/on over a 2-3 month period?

I just love the amount of willpower and foresight it took. I'm amazed actually. I've done some pretty big projects, but this one is so cool!

Any loose ends or issues yet? ~Joshua

Sorry, what I was referring to is, what does an off the shelf blower like that cost (as in "pricey/cheap/not too bad"), not this particular kit. I was sort of implying that if they arent too expensive we could see more home fabbed roots blowers thanks to this work, and the fact that the cowl issues are for the most part resolved.

Is there any way you could test flow the TB connection piece you made and see if it complies with a spec sheet from the blower manufacturer as to the amount of air the roots needs for average/maximum efficiency?

I worked on it probably 6 or 7 months mostly on the weekends but I took a month or so off from it in the middle there somewhere because it was getting on my nerves, like it is right now.

Having some tuning issues, split BLMs maxed out either way. I'm hoping it's something as simple as a bad O2 or a leaky header gasket.

A weiand 142 unpolished with the short blower snout will run about $1350 I think.

I have no way of flow testing anything. Let's see what it does on the dyno after I get the bugs worked out.

Honestly I don't know, I've only been under the hood of an LS1 car once. I need to get under one and do some measuring and looking. I might have to go to an F Body meet and see if somebody will let me do a lil measuring and then find somebody to lend me one for awhile. Depends on if the engine compartment is alot different than an LT1.

Found a bad O2 sensor and header gasket that's split right above one of the ports. Hope that's my tuning/split BLM issues.

There are some things I don't like so I'm in the process of redesigning a few things.

Maybe I missed it, but what size blower is that?

Edit: What is the maximum height from the top of the block to the highest point on the blower / elbow?

Updates? Looks great man, keep up the good work. I'd love to see someone create a kit for the LS1 F-Bodies.

I'm in the process of making a few jigs for production runs IF I get enough people wanting this.

No one seems to want to loan an LS1 and honestly I can't just go buy one right now.
