yeah i wasnt going to say it, but honestly. maybe after the car is off for oh i dont know 20-30 min. theres no magic coating that will be cold when everything else in/around it is minimum of 220 degrees and as high as 700.

if there is, nasa/government have it. and we dont have it in our fbodies....YET....

Haha, you know what, ive been looking for some, you know living here I would think I would have found some by now.

I didnt say it wouldnt be scorching hot, just that you can touch it (prob no longer then a sec or two at most).

I dunno, he does all the coating for the EVO guys at this shop out here in az, and my buddy that works at that shop praises his work.

i guess the only way to find out is to try it.

If you could get something like these and not charge an arm and a leg for it, I think it would be the ticket.

Are there different choices on the material for blankets? I need something for my 60-1 Hifi's...and I'd also like to wrap the headers and downpipes with something that matches...I really want the engine bay to look good. Seems like a sin to wrap stainless merge collectors and pipes, especially since the TIG welds on everything are beautiful...but exposing everything under my hood to extreme heat that I can shield away to some extent is more of a sin.
