Why not do a 4l65e or 4l80e? What are the major differences in it?

isnt parish running a stock 4l80e on his 1100 rwtq setup?

Even with all that I love slamming gears and dawnshifting!

Hopefully the break isn't too bad and you can heal soon!

Ya, I know the motor was running very strong cause normally I can hook in second.

I had about half a tank and filled up with 9 gallons of 101 before we went out.

Still on pump gas setting, but when you put down 830+ at the wheels, and even more before the drive train loss those parts take a beating.

Ill try to get some pics of the damage tonight.

as long as the car is gonna be down, Im prob gonna try to pull my manifolds and turbo and get it coated.

Might as well kill two birds with one stone right?

If you broke the output shaft, maybe PM Intmd8 and ask him about his beefed up T56.

ya how much money are you going to waste on clutches and trannies (im amazed mine has lasted - though im easy on it) i could have already paid for a th400 with my past clutches that didnt work.
but i figure why mess around, if you want to be fast put a Th400 in it and stop worring about stuff you dont have to.
Th400 FTW!!

lol, its a weekend car, and I havent even launched it yet

i know its fun and all to flasht he converter and hold on for dear life, but its not the same if you cant shift.

Plus how does it work with a BOV on an auto? Do you only release the pressure when you get out of it at the top of 4th or whenever you let off?

I like hearing it every time i shift

If it's the tranny. I would rec. T56rebuilds. G-force is only good to about 900hp. They don't use 300M and won't.. Which is what you'll need for that kind of power. T56rebuilds will warranty it up to 1300hp. Give them a call if it's the tranny. they're a sponsor. (888)937-4411

P.S. I too use to be a gear banger, until I got tired of spending money and time and labor on clutches.

I still have to manually shift my car, even have to push the clutch peddle to start it.

He's running a GForce, IMO for your setup man you should go with one, otherwise this is likely to happen again.

Hmmm, I'll have to check, but I thought my output shaft was 300M.

And fwiw, the G-force T56 has been behind much more than 900hp and survived.

I believe.. don't quote me on this.. but G-Force used to use 300M, but now only 93-10.. I'm not saying it couldn't survive. but they only warranty up to 900hp. The 300M is undoubtfully better.. G-Force has some good products though. just call and shop around.. Liberty, G Force, etc etc. I was in the same predicament man.. My tranny recently went to crap and I had to decide whether or not to go with an auto or manual. They both have there pros and cons. A decision only you can make!!
