Cam Change,"boost change?"
I am changing my cam in next few weeks from stock LS1 to a 224/230 .571/.581 114 lsa. I am currently running 6psi boost should I expect my boost to increase. I dont want to exceed 7PSI so while everything is out I could change my pulley wheel if I have to. Should I expect any problems from this cam with my boost. Thanks I dont know crap about cams. Trying to keep motor bottom end together for a while longer. Thanks Guys would appreciate any insight.

This cam was recommended to me as a blower cam. If I have read some other signatures and posts correctly some of the A&A blower cams are about the same with only +4 ground into them. Not trying to go extreme.
Should I go below a 3-70 pulley on a P-1 with this cam? 224/230 .571.581 114lsa

Just so everyone remember, the boost level will drop on the gauge but the Blower/Turbo will still be pushing the same amount of air as before, just a thought to keep in mind. The motor will be more efficient, therefore the restriction (boost) buildup won't be as high as before. I've seen people change pulley's to bring boost back up and end up working the blower too hard (running it hotter) and didn't see any gains. Just my .02 cents, don't know your setup so dont know how it'll effect you
