Update for myself. I got the function7 piece, drilled it out to a .083" to start with and it eliminated the smoking. I then bumped it up to a .096" and it is still good. It gives a very slight puff after a WOT run to redline, but that is fine with me.

I bought the piece for 15$ on the auction site.
I am using a -4 AN feed line
I just used a drill bit to get the diameter hole right, a 3/32" bit will get you about a .094" hole plus a little bit for human error. That is where I got the .096"

Do you know if you have a smoking problem right now with no restrictor? If you do have a smoking problem, I would probably start out small and work your way up. I started with a 5/64" hole and it totally eliminated the smoking, then moved up to a 3/32" to make sure I did not burn the turbo up.

smokinhawk used a .060" restrictor on his and he ended up frying the turbo bearings, so I would not go any smaller than .075" myself

I would start with a .070"-.080" size hole and work your way up. You want the largest diameter hole that will not cause smoking. If you drill it out too big and the smoking returns then you can either live with it or get a new restrictor.

Math must not be your strong suit?

English drill bits are commonly availabe in 1/64 inch sizes. I suggested starting with a 5/64" drill bit. Take 5 divided by 64 and you get .078". You shuold be able to buy these drill bits a local hardware store.

not sure if this was discussed earlier or not but where does the feed line check valve come into this? Are restrictors allowing you guys to eliminate them? Any changes needed to be done with the addition of the restrictor

What do you mean feed line check valve? I am not aware I have one, don't know why you would need one.
