How safe? and how?
Just wondering how safe is it to push 500rwhp with a turbo on a stock WS6? What are the first things to go? clutch, flywheel, heads, pushrods, cam, valve springs will be changed.
I was gonna do a rear mount setup with this stuff
T67 or T70 turbo
tial BOV
tial wastegate
42lb injectors
Racetronix 255 fuel pump
FMIC
6.0 heads
z06 cam
pushrods
patriot gold valve springs or comp cams 918s
Ram HD clutch or ls7 clutch
fidenza flywheel
tilton differintal pump
2 1/2" piping or 2 1/4"
Do you think i can squeeze 500rwhp or a lil less maybe out of this setup? and how safe will it be? i will either run 5 or 8 psi nothing more until i start building.

It's only as safe as the tune. But yeah 500hp is plenty safe. I wouldn't try to run a t67. T70 at the least...T76 would probably be best as there's a little room to grow into.
A T70 with a larger a/r(.84 or .96) will do the job though...The mustang guys are pushing 600+rwhp with big a/r T70's.
But to answer your question...If you have a tuner who knows how to tune a turbo car, along with that fmic and a properly sized turbo, you'll be fine.

Keep in mind it's a 5.7L motor that is pretty efficient...I'm sure it could make 500hp, but it would be right on the edge between making the power and blowing lots of hot air into the motor.
If it were me, I'd spend the extra few bucks(If it even is more expensive) for the larger turbo, and have the piece of mind that it's operating efficiently and lowering the risk of detonating.

lower air temps.. the turbo wont have to work as hard to flow... it would def outflow my 70... and theres room to grow when you want to upgrade... Like me.. Im gonna upgrade .
