I never got an exact STR when I got my converter from Neil Chance but when they sell a 4000 stall designed for your application, they said it will start locking up at 4100. On the dyno and from what the track shows, I have only 5.9% slippage.
You get what you pay for when it comes to an automatic converter.

Of course the A2's and A3's are stonger but when you like to make the 30 miles of highway trek occasionally to work or drive 4 hours to the beach in the summer, suddenly the 2 and 3 speeds don't seem very nice...
I'll leave them to the trailer queens...
