Default Post your dyno #/ ET/ MPH

Reason I am posting this is that it looks to me like the auto guys are dynoing a lot lower but running as strong as high hp M6 guys.

I always thought the same thing about this till i saw that episode of pinks with the Tosto bros. Those ****** cars take off and dont seem to lose anything in the shifts. I know they are pro shifted, which obviously accounts for it but they still seem like they aint worse off then autos at the track. I hope some of the people that respond to this have those kinda trannies so we can see waht they get. GL

No my point is that the auto cars dyno a lot less but run about as good as stick cars that dyno a lot more, like even 100rwhp more.

Tyres must be considered here too, as traction plays a part...

735rwhp Dynapack M6, 3.55 gears run in 5th gear.
3620lbs
ET 10.54
145mph ( this run was with meth, but its never been dyno'd with the meth )

my mph may be held back by gearing there to a degree

Autos have a massive traction advantage over a manual car, so in many respects, even if they have less power, they should perform well.
If Autos werent better for drag racing, then nobody would use them.

Im hoping these times/traps will change this weekend though

thats a pretty good comparision for a T56 vrs Th400, onfire looses 68rwhp but traps 2mph then BlwnTA, at only 39 less pounds
