Hose keeps blowing off!!
OK here is what I got. I went up on boost from 5.5psi to 12 psi. Now the hose that comes from the FMIC to the pipe before the MAF keeps blowing off. What is the deal ? Are the hoses that come w/the kit not capable for more than 6 or 7psi?

I've used two approaches. TIG a bead around the offending tube (the right way), or (I am embarrased to admit) two-part epoxy and weed-eater line (like HUGE fishing line) Both worked and never failed, though the TIG is not as cheap.

1) You need a larger BOV. If your BOV was not designed for that type of boost then you will still pressurize the intake tube on decel.
2) A simple T-bar clamp will fix MOST of your problem. ALL good F/I systems should only run T-bar clamps. The basic ones are JUNK..

I seen a nice approach to this on an intercooler kit for a Toyota Starlet from a guy in Sri Lanka of all places...
They actually Tig'd a bit of welding rod around the pipe to create a lip ( stainless in this case )
