Default what intake manifold should i get with my procharged 408

well im been waiting for my clutch for over a month now and im getting bored

i already had my FAST 90/NW setup so thats what im using. and since i havent finished with the dyno im thinking maybe i should change it up now before the tune it done. every talks about loosing low end tq with certain setups. but this in not a daily driver and loosing low end tq for better flow through out the rpms i can take be it i WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PUT ALL the power down to the ground in city streets as it is

thanks steve

just wanted to ***** out some pictures.. like i said bored lol

Wilson manifolds just released a nice sheet metal unit, probably very pricey though. If it was me, I'd sell the FAST and buy an LS6 and pocket the difference.

Or you could go with the GMPP carb intake, lots of guys make good power with that.

i thought about going back to an LS6 that was my factory manifold. i was thinking about going with the GMPP carb intake. since i already have speedince rails i just need the manifold and intake elbow correct? i want everything to look different, as in when the hood opens people will just go DAMN. plus giving more room to grow. i hate my intercooler piping so i will be redoing that too. and also putting a straight standing radiator.

If I'm not mistaken the Vjr is slightly taller... the GMPP will likely clear the hood easier.

i have seen your setup before. very nice
where do i get this manifold from and can i still use the fuel rails i have with new mounts. and i think the best place to get the elbow was intake elbows or something...

where do you tap into these manifolds for the boost gauge. i dont see any ports anymore

looking at some pictures, looks like i can have the vic jr machined on the top surface to bring the elbow down some to give it a little bit more clearance too

I would go with the carb intake on the 408. You will have great top end power on it and you have enough cubes to make up for down low

Moparnos did mine and he tapped some fittings into the back of the manifold. Seems to work good.

Local guy here just went 5.6x @ 130 in the 1/8 mile with twin turbo 402, stock LS6 intake and stock throttle body, patriot heads even.

Food for thought

I second that.... You're going to have no problem with it down low and it would probably help to move the torque up a bit so that you could actually get some traction...

Aaron makes a elbow for them...You can get the stock tb style elbow all the way up to a 105mm which can use a Accufab that the Mustang guys use...

You can use any aftermarket fuel rails...You just have to have the stands to mount them... Aaron makes those too I believe...

looks like the gmpp has the same mounting for my speedinc rails and will sit lower, but will cost a tad bit more overall after needing drilling for the injectors, and the gmpp needs a different gasket than the oem round gaskets

That's correct...I believe someone on here posted (I think Harlan) all of the gasket p/n for the gaskets from felpro...That was a while back though...
