So a 6400-6500RPM with 7.25" crank will need a 3.4" Sc pulley to max it out. Or 6800 RPM and 3.6 pulley. Its a matter of cam choice between the two pulley/RPM setups.

Yes, you've got it exactly. BTW there actually aren't any official airflow numbers on the F1-A but you will be safe figuring at least 1600 cfm The response of the blower is more aggessive than the F1.

From memory I believe its max flow is 1850. Its a beast. Its a harder hitting version of the F1-R and runs a touch cooler. Being a cut down variation of the F1-R it does flow a bit less.

This chart does not have the F1A on it, but it should have all the others. Bob

After researching the Ford forums which uses the F1-A in their stage 2 03/04 Cobra kits. I found out that the F1-A comes with a 5.73 step up ratio, but still couldnt find information about its max CFM flow or HP.

Anyways that means a 3.8 pulley with a 7.25 crank and 6700-6800 RPM would max it out.

I would think that is incorrect. My book shows a step up ratio of 5.4:1 for the F-1A.

Anyone can answer for sure if the F1R fits the J-Bracket supplied by ATI? Im taking the A/C off and moving the radiator forward as well as notching the frame a little bit to fit the elbow. Would it fit or not? I researched all the F1R threads and there was no sure answer about the F1R fitment using the ATI J-bracket.

Yes the F1-R fits the f-body bracket with the radiator moved forward.

An F1-A/C when built as a reverse used to be had with the 5.73 gear as used on the Cobras and C5/C6 Corvette, its now a 5.40.

F1R fits fine.... you'll have to notch if you wanna put a 4" 90 on it... the hat sucks.

$400 over the F1 though and almost $700 over the D-1SC.

Let me get this straight-the F1-C is the same size physically as the D1SC and gives up nothing as far as performance? So in laymans terms it will give up nothing on the bottom end? So can the D1SC be upgraded to the F1C or do you have to buy a new unit outright? What I really like is the step up ratio-this makes it even easier to spin it with a 6 rib setup. Bob does the new C5 Hi-Output kit offer a F1C as an option?

I think the F1C is the same size as the F1R. Its .75" larger than the D-1SC.
