The only way i would go with F1-A is the clearance we can have between the radiator and the head unit. The F1-R or C will be a tight fit and we will most likely have to cut the front brace of the car and make it thinner or add another alum bar to strengthen the car regidity.

Jeff,
According to my calculations... The F1-R would be running at 70000 impeller RPM with a 7.25 crank and 3.8 SC pulley at 6800RPM. That doesn't sound bad at all. Im sure we will see 17-19psi with that pulley.
If no one bought the D-1SC we will most likely take it to 7000 RPM with 3.4 pulley

What pulley setup on a 346 will yield about 10#'s boost at 6300rpm with the F1A?

8 rib or better is a must. They both move substantiaaly more air than a maxed D1SC and the lower ratio transmission places a higher load on the drive.

We used the eight rib on this C5, along with the ECS balancer/crank pulley, which is larger in diameter. The larger diameter of the lower pulley really helped us out with belt slippage. Andereck is correct, as always... You have to use the eight rib. Bob

Not on the F-body cars or the Corvettes.
When making the 8 rib upgrade.....
#1) From your ProCharger dealer, you need to get the 8 rib upgrade kit(s)
#2) As well as a ATI Performance Products Balancer.
The parts from ATI ProCharger include the new Blower Crank pulley, Blower pulley, belt, idler, and hardware and spacers.
The new Crank pulley will only bolt up to an aftermarket balancer. (An ATI performance parts unit)
Reason for that is, better mounting surface, and the new balancers have better hubs in them to take the power that is going to be needed to turn blowers that are going to require 8 rib belts. Plus if you are making that much power, you might as well have a good balancer on the car anyways.
EA
PS: On the Corvettes you need a true 8 rib balancer. BUT, on a F-body car, you are just getting a 6 rib factory replacement unit. Since the F-bodys run a dedicated crank pulley that mounts to them.
