Simple answer to the troll, these FMIC kits are very attractively priced for those who cannot fab up a FMIC set up for themselves or for those who do not have the time.

Whats up Kev??? My pipes aren't good enough

Yours work fine, I have to move stuff around and I'd rather have the inlet on the RH side of the IC. I could make some myself but Bob's are exactly like how I would do it. Just being lazy

Well if you dont like the price then have fun getting it done your self. Im sure you have a mandrel bender on hand. Priced out silicon fittings lately? Im not talking the junk on ebay either, we use 4 and 5ply fittings with T bolt clamps for everything.

Like StoleIT said, if you think you can do better then become a sponsor, untill then please leave your negative comments out of other peoples threads.

Some people dont understand what it takes to make a "bolt-on" kit.

Awsome! We are doing some proto work on the intake pipe and trying to get the best fit for that. To use that hat you have to move the radiator forward and delete the AC if you allready havent. You then have to notch the front cross member to accecpt the curvature of the pipe. Some people have seen no gain on this, but we have seen around 90rwhp and 2psi of boost.

If you have a aftermarket radiator such as the BEcool it will take some more grinding to fit the elbow in there. We had the radiator out of the white car beacouse it was about to blow out, i think it was from a combination of spining it high and having around 170k miles on it. Its got the becool in it now, along with the BMR polished radiator cover (Rs001).

Any questions shoot me a pm or call me at the shop.

Hopefully these will help you.
Note: This was our prototype car, and the plumbing was in sections and welded together.

so, let me get this right... 899.00 gets you the intercooler and all the necesary hardware to 110% complete the installation? Nothing else additional?

hmmm... hey bob, whats up? Seems like a fair deal to me. This kit seems well put together and takes the guess work out of doin your cold side. All you need is some hot parts, turbo, misc... BLAMO!! turbo kit!!

We've never just replaced the twin intercoolers and replaced them with our front mount kit, so we haven't been able to check on any psi changes.
The inlet air temps vary depending on the application they are being installed on.
I would say an average drop in inlet air temps would be in the 20 to 30 degree range. We would never use the newer 4.5" twin hi flow intercoolers on a 16 psi car, but this front mount does a great job of keeping the inlet air temps down. Bob

Smile Inlet side of air intake

The inlet filter side does not come with our front mount intercooler kit, although we may be offering it as an option. Below are four pictures of how we modified the inlet side to keep the filter up higher. Bob
