If you start selling them, you probably would need to quit your day job

Sorry fellas, been sick as heck with the FLU the last 2 weeks. Today is the first day back out in the shop for me. The template is done, so our unit should be done this week...maybe tonight if I feel up to TIG welding it.

I'm back !
I apologize for the delay. I actually went to the Doctors the day after and found out I had Bronchitis. Long story short, I'm better and the "prototype" hat is done. I was actually out in the shop polishing it up for the guys that like BLING.
Prototype hat material/consumables: .050 aluminum, .090 aluminum, 5356 filler, TIG welded. The .050 is a little thin for welding, so if you know welding, it is stitch welded in some spots (read: wide weld). The next batch will probably be .065 for ease of GTAW welding.
I have 6 units cut and ready for assembly. Price for these will be $200, once these 6 are gone, the price will go up to $250. This is tedious and labor intensive work to make these. So, please understand that. Between design, template cutting and welding, there is an easy 20 - 25 hours of work. Now that the prototype is done, they are about 3-4 hours work.
On another note, I have 2 catch cans made and ready to ship, if anyone wants one for their FI setup. They are $60 plus shipping.
