I have bought stuff from ATI and it takes only a day or two if they have it, or PM Bob at EPP and see what he has..

To be honest, we haven't made any specific to superchargers. However, if it is any type of metal, WE CAN MAKE IT...and make it GOOD.

You might want to order one that is a four inch radius instead, it will be easier to fit, much tighter bend to not hit the radiator. I dont think that one will fit. You will be not trying to discourage, I would still do it.

From the all the threads I have read in this forum I believe that if you sell a "reasonably priced" metal inlet hat for the ATI head unit you would probably sell quite a few.

Did you guys see the one that Moparnos(The SLP Guy) did for Jimmy P ? It was with a piece that he got from the chassisshop.com it was in mild steel. It would be nice in alum. It was 4" radius 4"ID donut. I don't think the chassis shop does alum though. Moparnos did a beautiful job. He da man.

I am on my third plastic POS (150.00 ea) and have a donor if anyone is willing to use is to fab up an aftermarket replacement. I have been thinking of experimenting with different tubing myself but am not a fabricator.

Send it over and we'll make you one for the cost of sending it. For the other gentlemen in this discussion, we'll make the hat at a great price...plus free shipping.

Yes he would but making an inlet hat that can fit, considering the clearance issues for some of us, and still maintain good flow characteristics would be awesome...!! I saw only one that someone fabbed up that might work for the 4" inlet that deals with the close proximity of the "stock" placement of radiator/fans and shroud. Even with the bottom of the assembly kicked forward a few inches here's a couple pics of my "dilema"...

Any duct work directly attatched will close on itself under boost...

Temporary solution...

If someone could make this out of aluminum and it flow well enough this might be the ticket for people with little room to work and not enough room for a 90 degree (or closer) radius elbow...

I have my stock one. Has a little rub on the face but is otherwise in tact. I don't need it anymore since I made a different hat. If your interested in it let me know.
