Default What size single with stock cube motor?

I am doing a stock cube LS1 , single turbo in a 69 camaro .
I was wondering what you guys think for turbo size(STREET CAR ) and if the edelbrock victor jr with a elbow and ford TB will be ok ?

This is a street car and I would like full boost by 3500 rpm . Also how much low end will I loose using the above intake ?

THIS ENGINE JUST HAS RODS, PISTONS, ARP BOLTS, and cam and LS6 style heads. Looking to make 750 rwhp

a 76mm turbo should fit the requirements.

I'm thinking a Turbonetics TC76 with the MPS wheel should work very well for you.

again, a 76mm would do well. However, it all depends how much rpm you want to turn, intake, cam, exhaust, hyd/soid roller... etc.

TC is a turbonetics unit that was designed by Jose of Forced Inductions and Turbonetics. A GT47 is a large frame turbo and really wouldn't work as well with a stock cubed motor.

Wow, a GT47 is a thumper turbo. no need for it unless you plan to spin that engine fairly hard and make HUGE power. A TC76 will make 1000crank hp and is a compact unit that you can fit without moving and eliminating creature comforts.

So far, and take my results with a grain of salt, I am not seeing full boost by 3500 rpms with my 346ci + GT47-88. I had some valvetrain problems that might have skewed earlier results but I'm thinking I will need to spin the combo to 7200-7400.

Maybe a little off the topic, but why not consider twins? Since you're already transplanting into the '69, you'd have flexibility on your install, and probably easier to just keep each side separate? Just a thought.

If you stay single my vote goes to the T76.

76GTS or TC76 would be the way to go. TC76 would be the cheapest.

Depends on which turbo you are talking about and what wheel you are using. Also depends on what your setup is. I would venture to say generally speaking somewhere between 750 - 1000 rwhp is possible.

Several of the turbomustang guys have put down near 1000 rwhp on 331/347 combos with a 76mm....and those were like GTS-76's and GT-42's etc....

If you step up to a S76 then you can maybe see 1000-1100 rwhp on that.
