Default cam selection

Hi All,
I have been trying to figure out what cam to put in this motor.
It is an LS2 forged lower end, LS1 heads CNC ported with 2.02 /1.57 valves, stock LS1 intake, vortech 12 # supercharger, 9.0:1 compression.

I have been looking at the stock 02-03 Zo6 cam.
It has a 117 deg lobe ctr but I think I want a 114 deg, not sure yet.
I was told by an engine biulder to use a 220 - 224 @ 114Deg cam with .580 lift.

My question is what cam do I run?

Thanks
Al

The Lingenfelter GT2-3 camshaft has done very well for us.

The two cars above have the GT2-3 cam installed in them.

This cam here has a great sixties musclecar sound to it, and has worked very well for us with centrifical superchargers. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=679 Bob

Thanks for the info.
This maybe the cam that I go with.
I like the sound of it.

I'm going with a 226/232 581./.591 lift on a 116LSA. I wanted a little smoother idle. My buddy has a 224/228 .581 lift on a 114LSA and is has a slight chop to it. He makes 742rwhp(at 6000rpm) at 14psi on a 346ci 9.4:1 compression with some cheap ported heads, Procharger D1sc, meth inj...I'm shooting for 780rwhp at 15psi. I have PRC stg 2.5 LS6 CNC'd heads with 2.04/1.57 valves 235CC runners, 346ci, 9.5:1 compression, better blower and larger intercooled, meth inj.

Also I currently run a 224/224 .581 lift on a 115LSA. Made 620rwhp at 10psi on stock heads and bottom end. No meth inj. Traps 130mph in the 1/4 mile...Runs real nice, very small chop...

WOW Thats great!!!!!! Thanks for the reply
By reading your specs, I should be in the same RWHP range.
Question---
why did you pick the meth instead of water injection?
What did you use to tune it?

I can't wait to drive this ROCKET !!!!!

Thanks

I went with Meth because its cheap, its a fuel(114 octane rating or so), adds about 30rwhp and it cools extremely well. And thats what everybody is running. I use HP tuners with a wide band O2 sensor to tune it...

Does anyone know what the specs are for a stock 02-3 or 04-6 Zo6 cam?

I was told that this cam is the best.
This is a hard one for me to deside.

Do you have a dyno sheet on this car?

I have the 224/224 dyno sheet. The new motor with the 226/232 isn't together yet...Top two lines are on the Paxton after I turned the timing down to 14degs and added a bunch of fuel for safety. It made 620/572 at 18degs timing. The bottom two are the Magnacharger at 18degs timing. Both are at 10psi of boost max..
