Default 1st thread ever! I am condering a Procharger..

Hello, ATI and I have agreed to Procharge my SS. I am seeking the technical support of LS1tech.com today in the hopes that I can build a reliable "street avenger." Is there anything larger I can use, but retain drivability?
We'll be going with the D-1sc and 8 Rib. Large front mount i/c...sounds ok, but not to my liking. Id rather the twin setup. *in comes EPP*
I suppose I should contact them? I dont want to spend any more than the total of 7500, to finish the project and get this car back and forth every day.
I drive it maybe 60 miles a day. I appreciate all you can do for me, guys.

ps- My engine is a 402, and my transmission is a stock T56,with a Moser 12 bolt *3.73* and steel DS.

By the time you get a good clutch/fuel system/good tune i'd be surpised if you can stay under $7500. If you do your own labor you can make it happen but it will be tough. Anyhow, good luck!

The first rule of forced induction is that there is no budget. No such thing. That stock t 56 will only hold up for so long so have a budget to build it up with viper internals. that's 2 grand right there out of your budget. they don't make good clutches that stand up to high hp that last very long so be prepared to change clutches more often. Then you got fuel system, then you got tuning.

see how fast it adds up?

I would definitely go with the front mount. Do it once and do it right imo. Also look at a F1A upgrade where you have a 402. Then you are good to BIG horsepower.

Open budget sounds better.
