Hey Guys I Relocated My Alternator To The Top Using The New Pts/ptk Bracket.but What Belt Size Do I Need To Use Now?look Like It Needs To Be Shorter?also Can U Post A Pic Of How Im Suppose To Run The Belt Thanks

OK, here's my high-tech engineer's drawing:

I'm assuming that PTK went with a tensioner that is now pushing in the correct direction, instead of pinching the belt up against itself.
This is what mine looks like with the Smokinhawk bracket and a Katech tensioner:

The belt is Gatorback # 4060798, the six-rib 79.8". Hope that's close enough for yours.

thnaks alot,but is it shorter or longer?because my alternator is a 1/4 inch from the t-body and urs is like 1 almost 2 inches away

Brings up an interesting point: how necessary is it to use the idler?
After installing the Turn One PS pump, my 6 rib decided to walk a little bit and cut itself into a 5 rib. Seems OK now, but I wonder if I could just go with a shorter 6 rib belt and skip the idler to have a happy beltline.

well after several trips to the parts store the belt i use was dayco 5060775,now when i give it about 4k rpms it look like the belt may come off,but i drove it WOT and no problems but i will like to find a tighter belt
