Default What Intake Manifold

Alright I was going to use a Victor Jr on my 402, F1A setup, but i do not want to
cut the cowl. So I am debating, should I use A LS2 Manifold with a 90MM TB,
Or a LS6 Intake. Ive heard that the gains of a ls6 are better but would that be
the case with a big cube, Blown Application? I would appreciate the feedback

Thanks
Brian

Seems to be a hot topic at the moment....

Here is an interesting example....They say they are using a stock LS6 intake, and stock unported TB...

Doesnt seem to be hampering them.

I switched from an LS6 intake and stock ported TB, to a Victor Jnr/elbow and 85mm TB....

If anything, my boost increased 2-3kpa.

I lost a 1lb adding an mti 78mm throttle body. I always had an ls6 intake on the car.

BECK Mechanical
I will be running one of becks intakes on my 408 setup. He does some pretty sweet work.

Im curious about that, has anyone tested a sheetmetal setup compared to a LS6 setup on a blower car?

Im not totally sure but i believe since its built for you application. You have better plenum volume and runner lengths are designed for your application.
same as on charlie johnsons car on the conley's wall of fame.
check it out

I also am running victor intakes on both of the mustangs. They have worked great. I know its a totally different intake runner design than a ls1. But seems to work great on boosted applications.

Maybe state a horsepower goal for a better answer on the best intake.
