Ahhh.... looking at the one on ebay, it looks like the unit plugs into the coil pack harness. Do the other ones do the same. With the Synergy Motorsports one, how adjustable is the RPM range?

Ls1290, sorry if you have not got anything back from us. I try and get back to everyones emails and phone calls the best I can. Sometimes I do miss a few guys, but dont take it personal.

If you want one, the pricing starts at 265 and the custom ones go up in price alittle bit. We can build them all types of ways. We can build them standard, to work with auto's, and we can even build them with a nitrous suspend function or even the new ever popular transbrake function. So we can build them lots of different ways for you. Just give me a ring at 510-796-3749 and ask for Rick. I will make sure you get one if you need it.

We can do a solid state setup or relay controlled with the transbrake. So it just depends on how you want your transbrake setup. Basicly, you can controll the whole system off the release of the transbrake.

As stated above the two step when enguaged cuts spark to various cylinders, this will also keep the engine rpm at a stand still. The unburnt fuel gets pushed out the exhaust and combusts in the header and spools the turbo. Some guys use it for building boost with a manual, some guys use it to aid in launching the car, some auto guys use it to keep the rpms steady while on the trans brake.

With my turbo 6 speed car I used it to build boost and to control the launch rpm. At 4200 it would build about 6 lbs.

With my nitrous 6 speed car I used it to make launching easy, just hold the clutch in, put the gas petal to the metal, release the clutch and off you go. The cluth swith activated and deactived the 2 step.

With my 408 t88 turbo 400 car I use it to keep the boost down, If I stayed on the trans brake the boost will go to the moon. I stage the car, get on the brake, floor it and if it needs more boost to leave just turn up the rpm setting. I have the two step wired into the trans brake on this car.

Hmmm very well put. I was wondering about that. more or less like how a nitrous controller works but with Nitrous spray level with time vs PPM level and boost

Nicely put, especially since you included all scenarios.

Isn't Harlan, or his distributor, suppose to be releasing the new one towards the end of this month?

At this point we have a two step for almost every setup now. And if there is not one you see, we can program it that way. Our unit uses a flash chip so we can setup a custom program if needed. Right now we have this for the two step function.

-Standard two step.
-Two step for Automatic
-Automatic with transbrake (relay)
-Auto with transbrake (solid state)
-Nitrous suspend option to any of these as well.

The pricing for the two steps start at 265 and go up for more options. Hope this helps everyone. If you cant get me through emails, please call the shop.

I used the Synergy with the solid state trans brake option when I still had the stock PCM and I liked it a lot. Nicely made and they were really good people to deal with.
