help GMPP intake

help GMPP intake I purchased a Edelbrock carb intake and elbow from intakeelbows.com. It did not fit under the hood of my 02 SS.Now I will try it with a GMPP intake, does anyone know for sure if that will fit under a SS hood? I emailed Aaron from intakeelbows.com and even he is not sure. any pics would be even better

thanks for the pics! I wouldnt mind cutting that much, but I really dont want to touch the hood. Arent Ws6 hoods a little taller in that area?

Well I know with a BMR and a GMPP and the elbow no cutting required. I milled my Victor Jr down and I am hopeing not to have to cut well see the poly mounts just keep the motor from moving witch also limits how much you have to cut etc...

does anyone know exactly how much lower the GMPP is than a Edelbrock in inches?
oh its just rubs from the movement of the motor. on my car i had to cut the lower part of the hood anyways, cause i have spacers under the engine mounts to make more room for the turbos. hope this helps

so with this type of intake and elbow combo I take it the air mettering has been converted to speed density since I dont see a MAF? If you dont mind what the benefit of going speed density and ditching the MAF? Sweet looking setups, hope you get the elbow situation straightened out.

Thats awesome, if that can allow the Vic Jr to Fit without hacking of the hood that sounds like a done deal to me. There is no price on that elbow in the link you provided SELLSZ06. What was the price on it??
