forced induction on a third gen
forced induction on a third gen hey guys, im selling my 383 stroker and im getting a 91 350 bird plus cash. I hate to see it go, but i really need the cash right now and i need something a bit more streetable. now, before this gets moved to the for sale section for some reason, my question is are there any kind of forced induction options for this car? either the 305 or the 350? i have looked and searched the forum and i havent found anything about forced induction on those, i have also looked at a couple sponsors and they dont carry anything like that for the third gens. does anyone know how much a supercharger or turbo kit would run for these cars or where i could find one??? thanks a bunch!
Try searching for BBSDESIGNS somewhere. I know I was looking into going through them when I was going to build my 3rd gen. If I am not allowed to post nonsponsored sites to help this guy, sorry in advance mods...
I second the procharger route. go the p1 or d1, and dont get the single 2 or 3 core from procharger. get the twins from the 4th gen kit. procharger doesnt have a "kit" for it but i have a list somewhere with most the parts needed to do the twins in a 3rd gen that you can get from ATI or EPP.

heres a nice third gen i got some info on- I DIDNT WRITE THIS- GOT SOME INFO ON IT ON S10forum- that engine is going into a 1st gen s10
turboed a tuned port 305, in an 87 trans am, and did it the sending unit route to the oil pan. heres a pic. grantid its not remote mounting style but here she is, with a t61, running 15 lbs of boost. Im just curiuse about your return line
put bigger injectors with a walbro fuel pump inline, got a chip burned from an guy on ebay, and a snow meth injection system and she handles the boost nicley. we had her at 15 lbs not too long ago. My buddy took it to the track last thursday and it was only running 7 lbs, becuase the meth quit kicking on, but it still ran 13.4 at 104, which isnt hateful for a 305 with all stock internals. That motor is actually going into my s10, here very soon, and we are building a turbo 383 for the trans am. Im not sure where exactly the manifold came from, but i know it wasnt cheep , it was right around 740 with shipping. They quit making it becuase US AUTO CHROME, started copying the header and selling them for like 200 bucks.
