Best CR on a FI engine What is the Compression Ratio on a Turbocharged engine?
If it is high then you get a strong engine at low rpm before the turbo is charging but you cant charge as much. And if the CR is low the engine is going to be sluggish at low rpm before the turbo is charging but you can run with a higher boost.

Man that Twin Turbo Setup would be un-real running it with straight ethanol. Keep us posted. What Cubic inch do you plan on running? How much rwhp are you looking at making and finally what turbos are you going with? The heads and pistons are what will decide what compression you will end up making. For turbos typically you will see people running anywhere from 8.0.1 to 9.5.1. mostly about 8.5.1. You would actually be able to get away with having a higher CR if you are using straight E85 as you wouldnt have as bad knock problem associated with high CR engines running boost. Take a look at the Boosted list https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/428072-2006-boosted-list.html and you will see the setups along with internals and CR along with Turbo, etc. This will give you an idea. I will be running stock engine for start and later on change the heads and proboably more...
The turbos are GT37R.
